Professional will work on developing advertising and content projects for the Brazilian operation
Anonymous Content Brazil announced the arrival of Velllas as a scene director. The director joins Anonymous Content’s Brazilian operation to develop advertising and content projects. Operating in Brazil since 2019, the production company arrived in the country with a main focus on content and entertainment projects, led by Barbara Teixeira. After a partnership started in 2024 with Rebolución to also start operating in advertising, the operation announced the arrival of Renata Dumont as general director and executive producer of this division.
Internationally, Anonymous Content has been the creative force behind global brands such as Apple, Nike, Amazon, Netflix, Coca-Cola and HP. Most recently, the production company won the Grand Prix for Entertainment at Cannes Lions 2024 for the documentary “We Are Ayenda”, for WhatsApp. On TV and in film, the company has produced productions that have won Oscars and Emmys, such as “The Revenant”, “Spotlight”, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “Mr. Robot” and “True Detective”.
“Vellas’ arrival reinforces Anonymous’ proposal and the great movement that the Brazilian operation is making. His creative vision and talent as a director are not limited to advertising, having also worked on several content projects. This move is a practical example of our business vision, where great ideas must be executed in their best format, be it a 30-second commercial or a series for streaming,” says Barbara Teixeira, CEO and executive producer of Anonymous Content Brazil.
The professional began his career as an art director at an agency and moved on to directing scenes at several production companies, until he opened his own, Saigon, in 2014. During this period, he signed national and international films for brands such as Nike, Vivo, Apple, Coca-Cola and Movistar. His entertainment and branded content work includes short films for Google and Moviestar, in addition to having directed the third and final season of “Dom”, on Prime Video, and episodes of the second season of “DNA do Crime”, on Netflix, which is still in the production phase.
