Cadastra, a global technology, data, communications and strategy company, announces the arrival of Fernando Spadari as its new Vice President of Strategy and M&A. The executive will focus on the company’s inorganic growth and internationalization strategy, further strengthening Cadastra’s operations in international markets.
Over the last four years, Cadastra has put in motion a robust growth plan, resulting in the acquisition of companies such as M3, Digital Ethos, QExpert and Maeztra. With these moves, the company now has more than a thousand employees distributed across five countries – Brazil, United Kingdom, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia.
“Fernando brings extensive experience in M&A and IPOs, and his arrival will allow us to accelerate the integration of acquired companies, in addition to continuing our expansion with new strategic acquisitions. It will also play a fundamental role in our preparation for a new cycle of growth and possible investments”, highlights Thiago Bacchin, founder and CEO of Cadastra.
With a business career spanning more than 20 years, Spadari has extensive experience in founding companies, leading large businesses and building mergers and acquisitions processes, having worked both in the management of organizations and as an advisor in large transactions. He was co-founder of Eleven Financial Research and CEO of Global Nova Comunicações, leading a turnaround process that culminated in the sale of the company in 2009.
The executive then went on to a successful career as a mergers and acquisitions advisor, first at Guapo Capital Partners, going on to found Galapos (rebranding) which, due to its great development, was sold to Banco Modal and became its marketing arm. M&As (where he held the position of Head of the area). After leaving his position at Banco Modal after the sale to XP, he was invited to take over Ligga as CEO with the challenge of operational turnaround and growth, leading more than a thousand employees.
After a sabbatical period, Fernando was attracted to Cadastra’s proposal, especially for its innovative business model, which combines technology, data and communication in an integrated way to deliver a complete digital transformation to companies.
“I found at Cadastra a culture that perfectly aligns with my values and a unique opportunity to participate in the entire expansion and growth process of a Brazilian company with great global potential. Cadastra has a unique growth thesis in the market and I am excited to contribute to this trajectory”, says Spadari.
