Pinterest has launched new features with artificial intelligence and automation to make performance campaigns smarter and more efficient. The company announced the Pinterest Performance+ suite, with AI and automation capabilities allowing advertisers the option to use campaigns created with Pinterest Performance+ for consideration, conversions or catalog sales objectives. According to Pinterest, Pinterest Performance+ can reduce campaign creation time with 50% less data input.
Additionally, through generative AI, white or solid-color backgrounds can be transformed into lifestyle images. The company has also made Pinterest Performance+ bidding for ROAS available in all markets and now has the ability to predict the value of a potential conversion in real time.
In the new features, Pinterest used machine learning technology to enhance search and home feeds with personalized, brand-specific shopping recommendations. Personalized promotions Show shoppers deals and sales based on saved searches and Pins. And, through offer ad modules, ads will be more visible in the home feed.
“We’re still the place where brands are discovered, but now we’re delivering results in creative generation and at the bottom of the funnel too. Brands are expanding Pinterest’s presence in their media mix, without having to choose between brand awareness and performance at the end of the funnel. They can have it both ways,” says Bill Watkins, chief revenue officer at Pinterest.
