Starting next week, more than 300 jurors will begin analyzing the works
The 27th edition of the El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2024 International Festival, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between November 14th and 16th, will receive registrations until October 7th on the awards website. The deadline had ended on September 30th.
Starting next week, more than 300 festival jurors will begin analyzing the works. Some jury presidents have already been introduced. Vanessa Giannotti, vice president of media at Ogilvy Brasil and BR leader of OpenX at WPP; Fred Luz, director of O2 Filmes; and Rafael Urenha, founding partner and CCO of Galeria, are among the Brazilians who will preside over the El Ojo Media, El Ojo Producción Audiovisual and El Ojo Digital & Social categories, respectively. Brazilian Paulo Areas, CCO and head of business transformation at TBWA Spain, will lead the El Ojo Direct jury.
“We have extended the deadline by a few more days so that agencies, creative and strategic consultancies, creatives, advertisers, production companies, PR, gaming, data, design, technology and media companies can submit their pieces”, informs Santiago Keller Sarmiento, president of El Eye of Iberoamerica.
The recognized ideas will add points towards the performance awards for Agencies, Independent Agencies, Creatives, Producers, Directors, Advertisers and Best Network in Ibero-America.
This year, the festival will award projects in the areas of Film, Graphics, Radio & Audio, Outdoor, Digital & Social, Media, Direct, Brand Experience & Activation, PR, Design, Sustainable, Sports, Content, El Tercer Ojo, Innovation, Creative Data, Creative Commerce, Effectiveness, Creative Business Transformation, Health & Pharma, Best Latin Idea for the World, Audiovisual Production, Young Directors, Audio & Sound Production, Graphic Production, El Ojo +Mujeres (Creatives and Directors) and the Best Country Idea Award from El Ojo Local.
Entries will also contribute to the Best Local Performance awards and may participate in the Best Idea in the Country award.
The program includes conferences and workshops led by internationally renowned professionals. The president and CCO of DM9, Ícaro Doria, was the first Brazilian to be announced as a speaker. He will talk about his experience working with former basketball player Kobe Bryant on the ‘Kobe & me/Kobe y yo’ panel.
