Elisa Santilli takes over as leader of Wasabi, a new label from producer WolfWolf that now focuses on digital content work for brands. Elisa signs the direction and assumes creative and strategic responsibilities for the projects.
“There are times when brands need large productions, and others when agility and mobility are more important to take advantage of contexts and leverage the relevance of companies digitally, whatever the platform”, he points out.
Santilli began his career in advertising agencies and then moved to Twitter, where he developed engagement strategies for large advertisers on the platform. At Itaú, Elisa led the management of the bank’s brands on social media. And at Meta (formerly Facebook), he was responsible for the creation and media of Business Marketing for Latin America.
“As a brand, vehicle and platform, I saw year after year a growing demand for digital production that was not adapted to producers or videographers. It is a challenging combination, as it mixes the need for trust in the interface and delivery quality, and at the same time requires lightness and production flexibility. Another factor is the particularity of the internet language and how this varies on each platform. The combination of these factors makes the demand very unique.”
With projects already developed for Netflix, Mercadolíder, Volvo and Grupo Boticário, Léo Sassini, executive director of WolfWolf, explains that Wasabi is part of the producer’s strategy of expanding its delivery capabilities to serve a digital ecosystem that increasingly requires specific thinking and experience .
