Flywheel, a Digital Commerce company acquired by the Omnicom group earlier this year — the largest acquisition in the holding’s history — announced changes in its leadership. Janaina Reimberg was hired as Managing Director of Flywheel Latam, being responsible for expanding operations in Latin America. She will have the mission of accelerating the company’s growth with the resources available at Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Brazil.
Former CSO of Outpromo until 2019, Janaina has worked at FTD Educação, Porto Seguro and SulAmérica Seguros. She will report directly to the group’s co-CEOs in Brazil, Ricardo Franken and Mauricio Gallian. Flywheel’s operation will maintain its connections with global teams and will have access to international tools, training and capabilities.
“I am very happy to lead Flywheel Digital Latam, bringing together my years of experience in agencies, e-commerce and technology. It is a privilege to expand our retail strategy with an incredible team and within the Omnicom Media Group”, comments Janaina.
Flywheel will have its headquarters in the same location as OMG Brasil, in São Paulo, but will continue to be managed independently. The decision to integrate Flywheel’s management into the OMG Brasil structure was motivated by the group’s experience in e-commerce and retail media, areas in which Outpromo and Global Shopper agencies have been operating since 2015 and 2017, being pioneers in Brazil.
OMG Brasil provides e-commerce services for major brands such as C&A, Diageo, Kenvue, Kimberly-Clark, Kraft Heinz, P&G and Seara.
