Marcos Mion is the highlight of Chevrolet’s new campaign, #99eContando, which celebrates the relationship of trust that the brand has built with Brazilians over the years. The Chevrolet ambassador reveals, in the first phase of the campaign, his personal memories with the brand and how it has been part of his life to this day.
“More than a campaign, #99eContando becomes a true movement for the brand. We are bringing together 99 stories that highlight the relationship of trust that Chevrolet has built with consumers over all these years. These are memories of memorable moments that strengthen us and make us want to have even more stories to tell”, explains Chris Rego, executive director of Marketing at GM South America.
The campaign, created by WMcCann, will showcase some of the thousands of real stories that have been collected since August, when a post on social media invited Brazilians to share their moments with the brand.
“Over the years, millions of Brazilians have had remarkable, fun, exciting and even unusual moments with Chevrolet cars. Mapping this scenario, we understand that remembering these moments is a way of celebrating the past to dream of a shared and connected future”, comments Dani Ribeiro, CCO at WMcCann.
In addition to the stories told on the brand’s social media and official channels, Chevrolet’s communication during this period will focus on celebrating the past and the emotional connection between Brazilians and the brand, with materials at points of sale, retail, fairs and other activations. The idea is to reinforce Chevrolet’s role as an essential part of the life stories of many people in Brazil.
