‘About This Skin’ will present stories of women who gave new meaning to scars through tattoos
Discovery Home & Health and Bepantol Derma announced a partnership for the new documentary series ‘Sobre Essa Pele’, with the support of Mediabrands through Initiative and MullenLowe, which will delve into the routine of Brazilian Raquel Gauthier and Russian Margarita Sultanova, a couple specialist in giving new meaning to scars through tattoos. The national series is scheduled to premiere on October 24th on the TV channel and the Max streaming platform.
In ten episodes, the artists offer support and care to clients through the use of Bepantol products. “‘Sobre Essa Pele’ is a very comprehensive production, which will generate conversations both with Max subscribers, our streaming platform, and with the Discovery Home & Health audience. Furthermore, Bepantol is the first brand to make an integration action at Max since its launch in February”, says Eduardo Teixeira, director of creative brand solutions at Warner Bros. Discovery.
With scars caused by accidents, surgeries or health issues, the tattoo artists’ clients were able to see art as a means of healing and transformation. Bepantol products will be present in the ten episodes of the series as part of the scenario and recommendations to participants.
“We believe that the skin tells our story. Therefore, supporting this mini-series is a natural extension of Bepantol Derma’s commitment to offering solutions that care for the skin at all times in life. We want to inspire people to see their scars not just as brands, but as chapters of a journey of overcoming and self-confidence”, says Cristina Hegg, director of consumer health marketing at Bayer Brasil and leader of Bepantol Derma Latam.
