Children’s Day is that day when we can become children too. So I decided to list some animations here for us to watch eating jelly beans (do they still call them that? Lol) on streaming and also in the cinema. Enjoy
Funny Mind 2 – Disney Plus
Funny Mind 2 There is a time jump from the first film. Now little girl Riley is 13 years old, going through the much-dreaded pre-teen years. Along with maturing, the young girl’s mind control room is also undergoing a major change to make way for something totally unexpected: new emotions. The already known ones, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, have accompanied Riley since he was a baby. They dominate the girl’s mind control center in a successful operation. But of course, there are some flaws along the way as presented in the first film. Old emotions are unsure of how to feel and act when new tenants arrive on the premises. One of them is the dreaded Anxiety. Envy, Boredom and Shame will integrate together with Anxiety in Riley’s mind. And coexistence will not be easy. Funny Mind 2 It is the biggest box office in history in Brazil.
Kung Fu Panda 4 – Prime Video
After three adventures risking his own life to defeat the most powerful villains, Po, the Great Dragon Warrior (Jack Black/ Lucio Mauro Filho) is chosen to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. The choice itself is already problematic when placed the world’s most unlikely kung fu master in a role like that. Furthermore, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior before assuming the honorable position. Along the way, he meets Zhen (Awkwafina/Dani Suzuki), a fox with many skills, but a unique way of seeing life. As if the challenges weren’t enough, Camaleoa (Viola Davis/ Tais Araújo), a wicked sorceress, tries to bring back all the villains defeated by Po from the spiritual realm. It’s cute and good fun for young children. Adults will find it tiring.
Ducks – Prime Video
A family of ducks decides to leave the safety of a lake in New England, in the United States, to venture to Jamaica. However, their plans are thwarted when they get lost and end up in New York City. Kind!
Sort – Apple TV Plus
In the film, Sam Greenfield is the unluckiest person in the world. She grew up in an orphanage when she turned 18. When she leaves there, she hopes that her friend Hazel has a different fate than hers. That’s when she finds a lucky coin left behind by a black cat. But she ends up losing the coin, and goes after the cat – whose name is Bob. That’s when Sam finds the unknown Lucky Land. But since humans are not allowed, your only chance is to join the magical creatures that live there to get the coin for Hazel. But obviously a lot of confusion happens. There’s an obvious Pixar influence, but the movie is cool.
DC Super Pets League – MAX
In the film, Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable friends. They share the same superpowers and fight in Metropolis side by side. But Superman and the rest of the Justice League were kidnapped, and Krypto lost his powers. That’s when he comes across abandoned animals from a kennel who have acquired superpowers. They are a dog with great strength, a pig that changes size, a squirrel that releases electrical discharges and a turtle with super speed. Krypto has to teach everyone to master their newly acquired superpowers and help him save the superheroes in trouble. Cute and fun, it will please children and adults.
Wild Robot – Cinema
The film is an adaptation of the book by Peter Brown. In it, the robot known as “Roz” – the ROZZUM 7134 unit – is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island. She soon needs to learn to adapt to this new environment and, little by little, she builds relationships with native animals. This includes an unlikely friendship with a fox and even adopting a baby goose. It’s an inspiring story. There are moments of reflection, but there is a lot of action all the time. It is among the best films of the year.
