Peruvian propaganda achieved an unprecedented feat in the entire 55-year history of the Ibero-American Festival of Creativity. For the first time, the same country won the four top prizes in the Formats, Innovation, Advertising and Production Disciplines, evaluated by FIAP.
Brazil won 25 awards, 10 Gold, 6 Silver and 9 Bronze. Almap was the agency in the country with the most trophies, 10, including 6 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze. BETC Havas got 8, 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze. The agency We was also awarded, with 2 trophies, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze, Made Brasil with 4 Bronze and WMcCann with 1 Bronze.
In total, 201 trophies were awarded, including 4 Great Suns, 1 Special Mention, 41 Gold, 69 Silver and 86 Bronze.
In this 2024 edition of the festival, new categories related to the use of artificial intelligence were incorporated.
In Formats, a discipline sponsored by Adsmovil, the jury chaired by Anna Roca, general director of Proximity Barcelona, was awarded 1 Gran Sol, 12 Golds, 30 Silvers and 33 Bronzes.
The Gran Sol was won by Circus Gray Peru for the case Sightwalks – Veredas that guide in the Public Roads category.
In Innovation, a subject sponsored by the Amarillo Creative Lab, 32 were awarded: 1 Big Sun, 9 Golds, 5 Silvers and 17 Bronzes.
The Metales judging team, led by Jaime Rosado, founding partner and creative director of RosadoToledo&, also awarded the Gran Sol to Sightwalks – Veredas que guaim.
In the Advertisements discipline, 66 works were awarded, including 1 Big Sun, 1 Special Mention, 11 Gold, 28 Silver and 25 Bronze. Erh Ray, founder, CEO and CEO of BETC Havas, was the jury president. The Grand Sol was also awarded for Sightwalks.
In turn, the Special Mention went to Absurd Promises, a campaign by VML Argentina for Asdra- Argentine Down Syndrome Association, which made an entire country reflect on the electoral period until the approval of a special law for those with it. Dirty Kitchen was the new sponsor of this discipline.
Finally in the Production Discipline, the jury led by Manuel Camacho, CEO and co-founder of La Doblevida, awarded 27 works, 1 Gran Sol, 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 11 Bronze. The exciting Cancer before cancer campaign, from Fahrenheit DDB Perú for the Peruvian Cancer Foundation, went to Gran Sol.
On November 6th, during Advertising Week LatAm, at the Museo Papalote del Niño, FIAP will hold an in-person delivery of trophies to the Great Suns of Ibero-America, the new members of the Hall of Fame and the Agency of the Year awards, Independent Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Advertiser of the Year and Producer of the Year.
