Energisa has just launched a campaign to celebrate the implementation of the Luz Para Todos project in the indigenous community of Aldeia Santo André, in Rondônia, in the Legal Amazon. After 42 years, the source that has always been present – the sun – now supplies 78 families in the Pacaás Novas Indigenous Reserve, located in the municipality of Guajará Mirim (RO). Approximately 500 residents benefited, who now have access to electricity and a new reality with more security, connection and better food conservation, among other significant advances.
The film’s story is presented to the audience in the Makarakon Oro Nao language and highlights the transformative impact of energy in an area that previously had no access to light.
The film offers a representation of the changes that the arrival of electricity brings to the life of the community. Making the film, which will be broadcast starting this October in Rondônia, involved a challenging journey, which required three hours of navigation along the river to reach the village and adapting the recordings to daylight hours, as electricity was still available. had not been installed. The project was designed by Energisa in partnership with Rastro Studios in the conception and creation. Heads is responsible for planning and media.
