Promoted by the short video creation and sharing app’s business unit, the Kwai for Business Summit 2024 brings together creators and marketing and advertising professionals for a day of insights, networking and celebration. The first edition of the event takes place on October 22nd, at 033 Rooftop in São Paulo, and will feature lectures by Ricardo Dias, former CMO of Ambev, and anthropologist Michel Alcoforado, who will share their perspectives on market trends and the future of digital content.
During the Summit, Kwai for Business will present its new business positioning, highlighting innovations and strategies that aim to strengthen the creator community and optimize user experiences. In addition, the first edition of the Kwai Ads Awards will also be held, which will reward the most impactful marketing cases on the platform, recognizing the talent and creativity of professionals in the sector.
“Although this is the first edition of our Summit, we had a broad participation from partners who registered their cases, and we are excited to recognize and celebrate the creativity and innovation that several brands brought to our platform. The Kwai Ad Awards will feature three categories: Million Collab – campaigns with the best use of Creators to achieve brand objectives; Shined on Kwai – focus on effectiveness and results obtained from media campaigns on the platform; and TeleKwai de Ouro – recognition for creative excellence in the mini-soap opera format.
The winners will be chosen by a jury made up of 10 market professionals, they are: Alessandra Barcala (Head Marketing Latam at Motorola); Bibiana Lechmann Saldanha (Content Director, DPZ); Deh Bastos (Creative Director); Dindi Coelho (VP of Creation at Mutato); Fabio Freitas (CGO of FCB Brasil); Fernanda Saboya (Heineken Group Consumer Connections Director); Gabriela Moura (Content Director at Talent); Leonardo Suzuki (Caixa Executive Manager); Pedro Thompson (Head of Marketing at Uber); and Ramon Pesci (Media Coordinator at PicPay). The announcement and awards ceremony will be held live during the Summit.
Among the brands and cases nominated for the “Millions Collab” category are: Hypera Atroveran; InfinitePay; Netflix; iFood; LATAM; and 99. In the “Brillou no Kwai” category, there are: TIM; Opera; Wyden; Mercado Pago; Superbet; and Cashier. Finally, the brands nominated for “TeleKwai de Ouro” are: Uber Moto; Hi Fibra; Paybank; The Apothecary; PepsiCo (Cheetos Crunchy); Heineken (Devassa); and Honda (Consortia).
Kwai Summit 2024 promises to be a unique opportunity for learning and exchanging experiences. The event will also feature panels, interviews with partners, in addition to the presentation of the study on the consumption potential of Kwai users prepared in partnership with the market research and consultancy institute, IPSOS.
