Brilhante and Vivo came together in favor of education and support the project, which takes place this Saturday (19)
Economist, ex-BBB, and influencer Gil do Vigor will hold this Saturday (19) the second edition of his six-hour intensive, 100% free, of preparatory classes for Enem, the ‘Aulão do Vigor’.
With support from the Brilhante and Vivo brands, the event – which had 200 students last year, in 2023 – managed to triple the number of beneficiaries in this edition, bringing together 600 participants.
For the ex-BBB, the aulão is a way of repaying all the support he receives from the ‘vigorosos’ (a nickname his fans gave him at the time of the program) and changing the lives of young people like him, through education.
“The Vigor class came as a way that I found to be able to somehow return to society all the benefits that I have received, because I was very blessed.” he said.
In addition to thinking about returning the affection, Gil says he wants to transform the lives of these students, just as his was transformed, showing that education and teaching changed his life. “I wanted to give back in some way by showing that education saves. It is a project that is part of Gil do Vigor and several Gils across Brazil.” reinforced.
Gil also reveals, in a celebratory tone, that the participants are super engaged, but that the main result is not about the theoretical knowledge itself, but about the motivation and atmosphere of the class as a whole.
“It’s not about the knowledge he acquired in an afternoon of class, but rather about the desire he had, clearing doubts, learning, interacting with other young people and going home with that desire, with that dream, with that desire. This changes his life. This makes him pass, understand?”, commented the creator of the class, who despite being studying his PhD, will also take the Enem 2024 as a form of incentive.
“The importance of brands is: allowing me to have resources so that we, from the Aulão do Vigor project, can reach more young people across Brazil.”
According to the economist, the project initially came about without anyone’s support, and that despite his own investment and his desire to make it happen, counting on brands was essential for the project to get off the ground and grow.
“We got there by working hard. I said: ‘Come on, thank God I hope to have this support so I can maintain this. But I want to do it.’ And the brands started to want to come along, some specifically, like brilliant and vivo, which have been with me for a long time”, he commented, who also says that he values the brands’ attention to projects that involve education.
The complete interview with Gil do Vigor, given exclusively to the newspaper, will be published in the printed edition of propmark on October 28th.
