Publicis Groupe has a new C-level, Lew’Lara and Gray also strengthened their teams
In the week in which the communications market said goodbye to Washington Olivetto, who died last Sunday (13), aged 73, in Rio de Janeiro, it was the agencies that had the greatest number of transactions.
No Publicis Groupe, Iza Herklotz arrived to be the new Chief People Officer. The professional will be responsible for promoting culture, inclusion and people management strategies aligned with the Group’s business objectives.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, the executive was vice president of human resources at Nava – Technology for Business, in addition to having worked at Dentsu Aegis Network and Accenture Brasil.
Already Lew’Lara\TBWAthe news — two — went to the strategy, research and insights team. Marcella Vendramini arrived to be director of strategy and Isabel Geothe research & insights leader.
The two executives will report to the CSO Raquel Messias.
Marcella worked at Grey, We, F&Q Brasil (M&C Saatchi Group), Isobar and FCB Brasil. Isabel Geo has worked at Terra Networks, Fiber Interactive, Folha de S.Paulo, ReadWriteWeb Brasil, Gray Brasil and FleishmanHillard Brasil.
Me on Grey Three creative directors arrived: Ulisses Razaboniwith experience at AlmapBBDO, DM9DDB and Lew’Lara\TBWA, takes on the role of global creative director at the agency, leading brand communications for the Coca-Cola Company.
The news includes the formation of a new pair of creative directors in the Brazilian operation. Fernanda Pekapromoted to creative director, will form a pair with Lucas Saicali who also returns to the agency to exercise creative direction.

The week also had important casualties. In Reckitt Hygiene Comercial, Renata Vieira announced his departure. She had worked for two years as senior director of marketing, media, insights and performance for the company’s Hygiene unit.
Renata said she decided to leave the company to dedicate herself to new professional challenges. His departure will be effective from October 28th.
“They were two transformative years, where I was able to bring a sense of emotion to the category, and I leave with the feeling of duty accomplished,” he said.
Outside, the WPP announced the departure of Ayaz Ahmed from the chair of CEO of AKQA Group. Ajaz’s successor has not yet been announced, but Stephan Pretorius, WPP’s chief technology officer, will serve as interim president.
Ajaz founded AKQA in 1994 and was the CEO for 30 years. WPP acquired AKQA in 2012 and, since 2020, has operated alongside sister agency Gray within the AKQA Group.

A Verbo Creative Intelligence reinforced his team with Valesca Simolanew new business coordinator, and Andrea Barrioswho takes over as head of business and customer service.
Valesca brings his experience from agencies such as Dentsu, Mcgarrybowen and Agnelo Pacheco. Andréa has a career built in agencies such as Publicis, Ogilvy, Mcgarrybowen and JWT.
Head na Folzke Agency
A Folzke Agency announced this week, Cacá Américo as the new head of new business. Cacá brings with it a history of negotiations with market players, such as Grupo CRM – Brasil Cacau, Grupo Grendene, JCB Latam, Ambev – Chopp Brahma and Lopes.
According to the company, the professional will be fundamental in implementing a strategic vision in the agency’s commercial area, in addition to leading the opening of new accounts.
