Africa Creative and AlmapBBDO have four nominations each; DM9 competes in three categories
Forty-five names, including professionals and companies, compete for the Best of the award propmark 2024, which reaches its third edition this year. In 2024, different from 2022 and 2023, the honor includes five more categories than in previous years.
The five new categories recognize the market’s talents in different specialties and in the OOH segment, which grows every year – Service professional; Media professional; PR professional; Highlight of the year, and specialized OOH company.
Among the agencies, two of them have four nominations each. Africa Creative competes in the Agency of the Year, Campaign, Creative Professional and Agency Leadership categories. AlmapBBDO also competes in Agency of the Year, Campaign, Creative Professional and PR Professional, one of the new features for this year.
DM9 competes in three categories — Campaign, Agency Leadership and Media Professional — with BETC Havas in its wake, with two nominations (Agency of the Year and PR Professional).

Criteria
A panel made up of journalists and members of the propmark nominated three finalists in each category for the audience on the propmark vote.
Among the criteria adopted to choose the finalists are taken into account creative performance in awards such as Cannes Lions, business performance and the role of professionals in developing creative and effective strategies.
Open and free voting takes place from this Monday (21) until November 21. The winner in each category will be the one with the most votes.
The 15 winners will be recognized in articles published with each person’s profile and photos of Alê Oliveira in the propmark December 2nd. Commemorative plaques will be handed out to the winners, on a date to be announced.
The latest winners
The Best of propmark 2023 had almost 25 thousand votes. In the ‘Advertising Agency’ category, Africa Creative came first, ahead of DM9 and AlmapBBDO. The ‘Advertiser of the Year’ chosen was Itaú.
Hands won in the ‘Live Marketing Agency’ category – followed by Atenas and Dream Factory. Among the three OOH companies that competed, the winner was Eletromidia.
In the ‘Platform’ category, Instagram won, with TikTok in second place. In ‘Veículo’, Globo appeared first, Record and UOL, respectively, second and third place.
Gallery campaign made for Itaú, ‘For you to get there’ was the favorite among voters in ‘Campaign of the Year’, surpassing the action of Volks and Eletromidia. Laura Esteves (DM9) won in ‘Creative Professional’, and Leonardo Queiroz (Grupo Cogna), as ‘Marketing Professional’. And Sergio Gordilho, partner, co-president and CCO of Africa Creative, was chosen as ‘Agency Leadership’.
