SBT was highlighted at the GEMA Awards 2024, an award for the marketing and entertainment sector, winning two gold and three silver. Competing with all of Latin America, the broadcaster was recognized for its creations in promos and visual identity pieces.
In the Design Promo category, SBT won Gold with the special Cordel-style call for Fortaleza’s participation in the Copa Sudamericana. The same piece also secured another Gold in the Motion Graphics category, highlighting the production of dynamic and impactful visual elements.
Silvers came in three categories: Best Opening, with production for the soap opera Romeu e Julieta; Visual Identity of the Channel, for the thematic vignettes that gave a new face to SBT; and News Promo, with the “2023 Retrospective” call, which brought a summary of the main events of the year.
“Winning these five statuettes at the GEMA Awards is recognition of the work of the Visual Creation team, which stands out for its creativity and innovation in promos and visual identity. The pieces strengthen SBT’s relevance in this area in Latin America”, says Ricardo Fiorenza, SBT’s Visual Creation Manager.
