According to a statement issued by the broadcaster, the journalist will dedicate herself to an education project in the private sector
The Band announced in a statement that the contract with Ana Paula Padrão will be terminated at the end of this year, by mutual agreement. The journalist who was in charge of the presentation of MasterChef Brasil will say goodbye during the exhibition of MasterChef Confeitaria, an unprecedented edition that will be shown from November 19th to December 19th. According to the note, Ana Paula will dedicate herself to an education project in the private sector.
“I lived the best ten years of my life on MasterChef and I had the privilege of seeing an entertainment product change the way Brazilians relate to food and being part of this process. I can only be so grateful to the team, who so competently produces the program, as for Band for daring to make this bet”, said the journalist in the statement.
Ana Paula stood out as a pioneer in MasterChef Brasil, since the format did not have a presenter in many countries. The professional has been in every season of the talent show since it first aired in September 2014, in addition to participating in projects focused on Journalism, such as coverage of the Ebola epidemic in Guinea in 2014, and the programs Connection with The New York Times, aired by BandNews TV in 2016 and Ana Paula Padrão.doc, aired by Band in 2017.
“The broadcaster has enormous admiration for her, thanks her for all her dedication over the last decade, and keeps the doors open for future work, reinforcing the relationship of friendship and trust that will continue for years to come,” said the Band in a statement.
