Agência Magenta and production company Cura signed a short film to promote the action
Cinemark made a collab with Edifício Rolim, a new horror attraction in the city of São Paulo. Located in Praça da Sé, central region, the Rolim Building is an old building, listed as a historical heritage site, which will now be the stage for an immersive experience of terror and horror, created by businessman Facundo Guerra.
With the unprecedented collaboration between Cinemark and Rolim, members subscribing to Cinemark Club, the Network’s subscription program, will be able to experience the new feature on Wednesdays, from October to December, starting October 31st.
With more than 20 immersive rooms, Edifício Rolim opens its doors for horror and horror genre enthusiasts to feel like they are in a real zombie apocalypse. The experience mixes horror, escape game, theater and collaborative play. Groups of up to eight people have one hour to tackle the haunted scenes and what’s hidden within them.
Several realistic and terrifying elements make up the floors of the building. At the end of the journey, participants can rest and toast to survival in the themed bar located on the top floor.
To announce the new partnership between Cinemark and Edifício Rolim, the agency Magenta, in partnership with the production company Cura, created a short horror film filmed first inside the cinemas and then in the Rolim experience.
Named ‘Os Sumidos’, the content follows 23 Cinemark Club members on their first and exclusive visit before the official opening to the public. Clients were invited to a traditional session on October 16th, but, after arriving, they were blindfolded and taken to Rolim without knowing anything about the experience they would have. The result of this mysterious action is in the mini documentary that is being shown at cinema sessions and on Cinemark’s social networks.
