Emma Montgomery will be responsible for connecting and leveraging the agency’s strategic and creative offerings globally
Droga5 has appointed Emma Montgomery as global strategy director. This is the third announcement about the agency’s global structure this year, following Pelle Sjoenell, in March, as global creative director, and Mark Green, as global CEO.
Montgomery will bring his leadership experience to Droga5 and will be responsible for connecting and leveraging the agency’s strategic and creative offerings globally. Its base will be New York, the agency’s headquarters.
The executive arrives at Droga5 after serving as CEO of DDB Chicago. She has been in the industry for over 20 years and has held several high-level leadership positions throughout her career, including President and CSO of Leo Burnett Chicago, Global CSO of TBWA, and CEO of Leo Burnett Australia. She has also worked across categories and with a number of global clients, including Kraft, Aldi, Diageo and Molson Coors, among others.
“The potential of Droga5, combined with the possibilities of Accenture Song, was an opportunity too exciting to turn down. No other agency has what they have, and as marketing evolves, the chance to make creativity a true partner of business It’s real here,” he said.
