Company, which already had 27% of the OOH company, now has 47% of the share capital
Grupo Globo became the total owner of Eletromidia, according to a relevant fact published this Monday (4). According to the document, the deal was closed for around R$1.7 billion.
Globo, which already owned 27% of Eletromidia, now acquired 47% of the OOH company’s share capital, which represents 65,923,980 common shares, worth R$27 per share.
Also according to the document, Grupo Globo must submit a request for a unified public offering of shares to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). As a result, in the transaction, Eletromidia shareholders will be offered a price per share equal to the purchase price.
Now, after the transaction, Eletromidia is no longer a publicly traded company. However, the process is still subject to approval by Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense).
Eletromidia closed 2023 with gross revenue of R$1.048 billion, representing growth of 19.8% compared to 2022.
