Heineken, official sponsor of the 2024 edition of AFROPUNK Brasil, arrives in Salvador with its music and sustainability platform, Green Your City. The festival, which takes place on November 9th and 10th at Salvador’s Exhibition Park, is the largest in the world celebrating the diversity and creativity of the Afro-descendant community, highlighting music, art, fashion and social issues. Heineken, by establishing a partnership with the event, seeks to stand out as a promoter of cultural and environmental transformations, strengthening its link with artistic movements in Brazil. At the same time, it invites the public to live in the present in a more conscious way, so that, together, they can celebrate the music of today and the future.
For the event, the brand has a special structure that stimulates connections, experiences and new knowledge about the environment through biomes in each Brazilian region: an “urban jungle” is set up with trees, plants and artistic installations related to nature, in addition to of the black carpet at the entrance to the experience.
Called Musical Biosphere, the installation was developed jointly by Heineken with ATENAS.ag, a brand experience agency and partner in the planning, creation and execution of projects for the culture and sustainability platform of the Heineken brand in Brazil. The space’s set list will feature a line-up of freshprincedabahia as resident DJ, as well as guests Lunna Montty, Tia Carol, Mirands, Valentina Luz, DJ Tamy and KL Jay.
Within the schedule, on November 9th, freshprincedabahia plays sets from 5pm to 6:30pm, from 8pm to 9:30pm and from 00:30am to 2:30am. Still on the 9th, Lunna Montty plays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, Tia Carol performs from 9:30 pm to 11 pm and Mirands, from 11 pm to 12:30 am. On November 10th, freshprincedabahia opens the space, performing from 5pm to 6:30pm, returning for sets at 8pm and 11pm.
