A few weeks ago, everyone was talking about the NuBank commercial with Matt LeBlanc. And I stayed here thinking how the series Friends is still so present in the minds of series fans. People still watch it again and again on Warner Channel reruns or on MAX, where every season is available. And, of course, everyone has their favorite episodes out of the 236 that were produced. So I decided to list mine – here are the six that I like the most!
The One with the Rumor – Season 8 / Episode 9
At the time, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married. And he made a cameo in this episode, playing a former classmate who hated Rachel (Jennifer) so much that he co-founded an “I Hate Rachel Green” club. Brad is always unbeatable in comedies. And there are hilarious scenes in this episode.
The One with Phoebe’s Wedding – Season 10/ Episode 12
Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) was probably the funniest of all the characters. But his story had all the ingredients of a good drama. But the episode that shows her marriage to Mike (Paul Rudd) is so perfect that it leaves us with a warm heart.
The One with Monica and Chandler Wedding – Season 7/ Episode 23 and 24
In fact, there are two episodes worth one, since so much happens that it had to be divided into two. Chandler and Monica’s (Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox) wedding day, but Chandler is scared. And his friends try to do everything to make him lose his fear and so that Monica doesn’t know that something is wrong. Plus, there’s still the cliffhanger of Rachel’s pregnancy. Very good!
The One with Ross Wedding – Season 4 / Episodes 23 and 24
These weddings always need two episodes, lol. A very special episode as almost all of the friends go to London for Ross’s (David Schwimmer) wedding to a woman other than Rachel. But the two are still clearly in love, so much so that when they say their vows, he says Rachel’s name and not the bride’s (#unforgettable moment). Furthermore, the episode also brings the surprise of Chandler and Monica’s involvement. Everything very perfect.
The One where Everybody Finds Out – Season 5/ Episode 14
One of the most hilarious scenes in the entire series is the moment when Phoebe discovers that Monica and Chandler are together (I’m blind, I’m blind!). It’s also sensational when, at the end, Ross also finds out about the story.
The Last One – Season 10/ Episodes 17 and 18
Most lists I’ve seen don’t include the final episodes among the best. but I think it’s fun, exciting (it’s impossible not to cry), and romantic (Rachel and Ross are beautiful). It was a beautiful end to an unforgettable series.
