IPG is yet another major communications group ending operations in Russia. The announcement was made this Monday (14) by CEO Philippe Krakowsky. In a post on LinkedInthe executive cites negotiations – hitherto failed – between Russians and Ukrainians and the growing attack on civilian targets, such as hospitals.
With the decision, Interpublic Group became the second group to leave Russia. On the 4th, the WPP announced that it would cease operations in the country after the board concluded that the group’s continued presence in Russia would be inconsistent with the company’s values.
