Production company Associados announced the hiring of director and documentary filmmaker Luz Barbosa as stage director. Associados also has stage directors Ana Barcellos, José Furlan, Marcelo Bozzini, Rodrigo Moreira and Vicky Salles.
With extensive experience in audiovisual projects, including series, reality shows, music videos and advertising work, his portfolio includes the series ‘Vidas que Transcendem’ (Globoplay) and ‘Afroflux – Sons da Música Preta’ (Canal Bis), in addition to the reality show ‘ Born to Fashion’ (E!).
Born in Osasco, São Paulo, Luz Barbosa is 26 years old and stands out for transforming her experiences as a transmasculine and black person into powerful and relevant narratives.
