Qatar Airways has released its latest inflight safety video, starring comedian, actor, entrepreneur and new global brand ambassador Kevin Hart. The video brings together global celebrities and social media stars to deliver essential safety messages in a fun and engaging way.
Starting in December 2024, Kevin Hart and other stars will showcase the airline’s safety procedures in a short, relaxed film directed by renowned Hollywood director Tim Story. Created to capture passengers’ attention, the video combines entertainment with important safety instructions.
Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, for example, assists Hart in navigating the overhead bins, while Anwar and Amal Jibawi remind passengers about the importance of keeping their seatbelts fastened throughout the flight. Khaby Lame joins Hart in his specialty, and Adam Waheed shows how to use the oxygen mask.
Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said: “At Qatar Airways, the safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority. Our main ambition with this project was to create an in-flight safety video that passengers wouldn’t want to ignore. As technology advances and more passengers become distracted by other devices, we realize there’s no better way to capture their attention than with their favorite artists and content creators. We are proud to welcome Kevin Hart as our newest global ambassador to amplify this message.”
Kevin Hart, comedian, actor and Qatar Airways Global Ambassador, commented: “Fasten your seatbelts! This safety video is unlike anything you’ve ever seen onboard a luxury airline. It was incredible to collaborate with Qatar Airways to create a video that passengers will not only watch but also remember, at least until their next flight. Qatar Airways represents the best in service and attention to detail, and this video brings those elements to your screen. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the flight!”
Tim Story, renowned Hollywood director, added: “When a world-class brand like Qatar Airways breaks conventional barriers and offers creative freedom to explore new boundaries, great heights can be achieved.”
The video will be available on selected Qatar Airways flights from December and will be rolled out across the entire fleet by January 2025.
