PUBG MOBILEone of the most popular mobile games in the world, has officially released its new update, 1.9, bringing the festivities to Erangel and Livik as they celebrate their 4th anniversary.
A new floating sky game mode, new themed fields, vehicles and more are now available. Players will also have the chance to get a new X-Suit, enjoy a new season and month of the Royale Pass, and experience the new collaboration with the online multiplayer game Warframe.
This month the PUBG MOBILE completes four years with a great celebration. Several changes are coming to Erangel, Livik, and Spawn Island, offering players the chance to celebrate the anniversary of the PUBG MOBILE.
For starters, players will be able to fight in the sky on the new Aerial Battleground. At the start of each match, players have the option of jumping into an Air Battleground, transforming into colorful puppets and collecting resources. Successful enemy hits inflate their puppet heads and sustain the floating battlefield, but hitting teammates will deflate it and bring the battlefield close to the ground. Time is of the essence, as the Aerial Battleground only lasts five minutes at the start of each match.
For those on land, there is a new way to travel. New folding mountain bikes can be found and used as a one-person vehicle. Players can put this silent bike, which needs no refueling or recharging, in their backpack and take it out later when they need to get around in a hurry.
Spawn Island is also getting new colors, players can find four different types of colored balls that can be used to dye certain buildings. In themed mode, Color Balls can also be used to summon four different giant statues, which when summoned together will make a special performance.
Players will also be able to discover new camps in Erangel and Livik, containing valuable supplies, weapons and more. Vibrant Plaza and Vibrant Camp, two new resource fields, will now appear on both maps. At Vibrant Plaza, players can check out the Bicycle Exhibit and other special anniversary areas. In Vibrant Camp, players can view community-voted memory exhibits, collect combat supplies, souvenirs, and season-exclusive souvenirs.
Military camps, which include scanning stations that give players the opportunity to find the location of nearby vehicles, and firearms depots, containing valuable supplies, can now also be found on both maps.
Version 1.9 of PUBG MOBILE also introduces Season 5 of Cycle 2. A new set of Legendary Rewards is available, including Glasses, Set, Parachute, MK14, Mask and Cloak. New 4th Anniversary themed quests will also be available, allowing players to unlock commemorative titles and exclusive rewards by collecting souvenirs. Other updates include the adjustment of Ranked Classic Mode team breaks, Season Tokens that can now be obtained through Ranked Play activities, and changes to the store and season purchase cap.
In Royale Arena: Assault, the Playzone randomly spawns in different areas and can transform into a combat zone. Strong teamwork and quick reactions are essential, the team that completes the elimination goal first will be the winner. This quick action will be available from April 7th in Erangel and Livik.
