The company said it will transfer its share of the joint venture to a local agency
Dentsu International will stop operating in Russia after President Vladimir Putin’s attacks on Ukraine. The company said it will transfer its share of the joint venture in the country to a local agency.
“We didn’t take this decision lightly, as we have 1,500 partners in Ríssia, between professionals and advertisers, who have been by our side for many years”, says the note.
Furthermore, Dentsu added that it “stands with Ukraine and the global community calling for the restoration of peace” and stated that it will continue to prioritize the safety of its people and the needs of its customers.
Now with Dentsu, there are already four major communication groups leaving the Russian market – WPP, IPG and Publicis Groupe, which announced this Tuesday (15).
