The idea of the Critics Choice Super Awards was to reward an area of entertainment that ends up being forgotten in the “normal” awards. It’s content that appeals to geek, pop, and more gender-oriented culture. In its first year, the awards event was broadcast, but in this second year there was only the announcement of the winners. How will it be next year? It’s wait and see. Either way, it was interesting to analyze which winners were in 2022.
No cinema, Spider-Man: No Return home was the big winner. There were three awards: best superhero film, plus awards for Andrew Garfield and Willem Dafoe. 007 – No Time to Die won two awards in the action film category. AND Danube also two among science-fiction/fantasy films. Among series productions, Round 6 e WandaVision took three awards each. Both were chosen as the best series in their categories.
I confess that the Super Critics Choice choices are much more in line with what I think than the “official” awards, lol.
