A former Tesla employee was fired by the company after posting a video in which his car’s Full Self Driving (FSD) was not working properly. John Bernal posted a video in which the brand’s vehicle hit a security pole when the beta version of the FSD was activated.

The official also commented on details about his resignation to the American television network CNBC. According to him, his bosses at the company verbally communicated to him about the video being a violation of company policy. In addition, Bernal said that for Tesla, his YouTube channel presented a conflict of interest with his employment at the company.
However, this was not the first time that John Bernal got into trouble within the company he worked for on account of his YouTube channel, the AI Addict. In a video released last year, he also tests the autopilot tool deployed in Tesla cars and shows that it is not always so reliable.
In addition to being fired, Bernal will also have an additional problem with his car. Although he can activate the FSD in his model, the tool will not receive new updates. The tool is made available to everyone who pays to receive news about the autopilot test phases and to get experimental samples of the product.
Several Telsa customers who pay for updates to the function have already posted videos on YouTube testing the service. John says that he intends to continue with his channel on the online video network, but jokes that now he will have to borrow his friends’ car to test the FSD news.
