The action with Íbis and Denílson is part of the second phase of the Unaccustomed campaign
Íbis Sport Club, known as the worst football team in the world, together with PicPay, made a strong signing: the five-time champion Denílson.
The negotiation took place on social media and was confirmed after sending the proof of Pix with Card made on PicPay, but to the sadness of Íbis fans, the hiring lasted only one day.
For the action, Íbis told the networks that it “had the dream, but not the money in hand”, and revealed that the lightning contract was part of the PicPay campaign to promote Pix with Card.
On the other side of the ad, the 44-year-old world champion also revealed that he is no longer physically fit to face the 90 minutes on the field and recommended the new product to his 6.5 million followers and fans.
“We want people to see, as well as the club, that they can get used to traditional methods and experience what PicPay has to make their lives easier and their relationship with money easier”, explained Gui Telles, director of marketing and strategy at PicPay.
The action with Íbis and Denílson is part of the second phase of the Desacostuma campaign, which debuted in January.
The product was launched on March 7, during the BBB break, with a film starring singer Iza.
