Carlos Li, who had been in the position, will continue as General Manager TCL Latin Business Center
Yue Haiping is the new occupant of Semp TCL’s CEO chair. The executive, who has worked for the brand since 2016 and held the vice-presidency, will also be part of the company’s executive board. Carlos Li, who had been CEO since 2020, will continue as general manager at TCL Latin Business Center.
Haiping already worked for the brand together with the then CEO and helped over the years to design the global vision of the business.
Graduated in International Relations from Central South University, Yue Haiping, moved to Brazil in 2002, and in May 2015, took over as general manager at TCL Multimidea Brasil. He was one of the main responsible for the negotiations with SEMP for the creation of SEMP TCL, a Joint Venture between the two companies held in 2016.
Felipe Hennel Fay continues as vice president of Semp TCL and CEO of SEMP Amazonas.
