Fortnite players can now celebrate. Season 2 of Chapter 3 of the game has finally arrived and can be played through the Epic Games launcher. With the new season, news also arrived on the game’s island, such as new characters, new weapons and equipment and even new ways to fight.
The biggest novelty of the new update, however, was the removal of buildings in the game’s battle royale mode, both in solo games and in duos or teams. Buildings are still enabled in other modes, such as competitive, island arenas, and playlists.
As usual, the new season also came with the Fortnite Battle Pass. The pass can be purchased by players for in-game currency, which can be purchased for real money. The regular pass costs 950 V-Bucks, around R$25.00. The pass with all levels unlocked is priced at 2800 V-Bucks, about R$62.00 V-Bucks.
One reward available in the Battle Pass that is worth mentioning is Doctor Strange. The Marvel superhero was already being speculated to appear in the Epic Games game during the last week. The skin is the main reward of this season and is unlocked at level 90. Other characters that also appear this time are Tsuki 2.0, Armando Metralha, Imaginaria, Nora Knockout, The Origin and Erisa.
With season 2 of chapter 3 the game also gained 3 new skills: Dash, Climb and Slam. Dash is a speed boost that allows players to perform jumps to farther places. The slam is a result of the dash where players can open doors by pushing them with their shoulder. Finally, climbing allows players to climb to greater heights using a kind of parkour.
