Current CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) of GM in South America, Hermann Mahnke is leaving for the United States. The executive will take over as Marketing Customer Experience Director at the company’s headquarters, as of April 1.
Having been with the company for 25 years, this is not the first time that Mahnke has worked outside the country. On other occasions, he has already been transferred to the US to coordinate communications for South America, Africa and the Middle East and has also held the presidency of GM for Chile, Peru and Bolivia.
“I am very happy with this opportunity. I have a 25-year trajectory at GM. Today, we have technological resources and a sea of data at our disposal to always promote the best experience for the customer who is more demanding than ever. I will be 100% focused on our consumer to connect more and more with them, promoting ease, practicality and convenience”, he said.
Under his management, the company has among the achievements the sales leadership of the brand in South America and also of the Onix model in the last 6 consecutive years. In 2021, the Chevrolet brand received a Golden Lion and was the most awarded in all segments of the Effie LATAM, which measures creativity with efficiency and results.
