L’Occitane au Brésil, the Franco-Brazilian brand of the L’OCCITANE Group, presents its Olinda line with repackaged packaging, while maintaining its essence in the representation and joy of Brazilian women. Deo Colônias Olinda and Olinda de Viver instigate the most vibrant and joyful side of every woman. In addition, the brand presents the new Body Deodorant Illuminating Gel, which leaves the skin slightly illuminated.
The products seek to express female strength in a modern design developed by local artist Joana Lira. The joviality of the products brings consumers even closer to the brand, through an emotional connection and dialogue with the essence of the woman of Olinda for all women in Brazil. The new spelling is inspired by the Brazilian woman, with her diversity and plurality, and contrasts with colors that convey all her joy.
Olinda is a floral fruity fragrance, with top notes of green apple, mandarin and cassis. The body ones are floral bouquet, verve accord and umbu-cajá, and the base ones are sandalwood and amber. Olinda de Viver is an oriental floral fragrance with top notes of violet leaves, lychee, tangerine and pear, the body notes are Brazilian geranium, freesia, precious wood accord and peach blossom and, finally, the notes of background are musk, patchoulo and sandalwood Australia.
The novelties do not stop there, in addition to the Deo Colônia Olinda and Deo Colônia Olinda de Viver, L’Occitane au Brésil presents the Olinda Body Deodorant Illuminating Gel. The formula of this gel leaves the skin deodorized, hydrated, soft and slightly illuminated. Its fruity floral fragrance perfumes the skin and spreads a breeze of joy, providing the happiness and glow of the Brazilian.
The fragrances, inspired by the lightness of the woman from Olinda, are the true essence of joy made for women anywhere in the country. And this “Essência da Alegria” is the motto of the campaign that debuted this Wednesday (30) on the social networks of L’Occitane au Brésil and in all the brand’s stores in Brazil.
The strategy, which includes film and digital media, is signed by Integer\OutPromo. The agency’s insight was to invite consumers to “awaken their Olinda side” and get to know and experience a way of living with the brand’s products that bring all that joy, tranquility and serenity that the city of Olinda awakens in those who visit it.
The campaign film, captured on the streets and slopes of the city, with natural light, features model Flávia Fernanda da Silva, representing the woman from Olinda, calm, light and serene through the streets, living her authentic joy and lavishing beauty and Brazilianness. The entire campaign exalts the local culture, with a vibrant look, which together with the fragrance transports people to the streets of the city to awaken their Olinda side.
“Our ideal is that each person who feels the fragrance or is impacted by the communication materials also feels involved by the atmosphere of Olinda and all that the city has to offer, whether through its vibrant colors and its carnival energy or its hospitality and unique cultural expression. A project so special and necessary, that we plunged into a search to seek collaborators who really experienced Olinda to the full and local talents, such as the graffiti artist Ayodê França, who illustrated our KV.”, comments Felipe Carbene, art director at Integer\OutPromo .
