Less than a week ago, Fortnite had an update that removed buildings from important game modes. However, the novelty does not seem to have lasted that long. Last Saturday, Epic Games, the game’s developer, officially announced the return of mechanics for the game.
The news made most of the player community happy, as there is now also a mode without building mechanics in Fortnite. With the two options available, everyone can play in the mode they like best, even though buildings are unlocked in the main battle royale mode.

It is worth remembering that although the buildings have returned to the main mode now, they never completely left the game. Fortnite had kept the tool in Arena mode. This division accumulates points for wins and allows players to compete in game-related competitions.
The mode without buildings available in the game for now is called Building Zero. The other modalities rely on the tool normally. Still, there are different types of options with diverse gameplay within the battle royale.
