Yanir Karp will have the role of leading the team through the process of separating the company’s pharmaceutical and consumer divisions.
GSK Consumer Healthcare (CH) announced this Monday (4th) Yanir Karp as the new occupant of the general manager chair for the operation in Brazil. Yanir takes on the dual challenge of being at the forefront of the main Latin American market for the company, as well as guiding the team through the process of separating GSK’s Pharmaceuticals and Consumer divisions into two independent companies.
Haleon, the name of the company focused on consumer health, will be based in London and will be the global leader in its segment. The separation is expected to be completed by mid-2022.
Yanir has worked at Coca-Cola Femsa, where he held commercial positions, and at GSK itself.
“My commitment is to continue serving customers, healthcare professionals, suppliers and thousands of Brazilians with our trusted and beloved brands such as ENO, Centrum, Advil, Sensodyne and Corega. I am excited for what lies ahead and focusing on contributing so that we can deliver better health every day with humanity,” said Yanir.
