This Wednesday (08), the Rockstar officially announced that GTA Online will receive a story-focused expansion called “The Contract”. The new DLC features the character Franklin from GTA V, years after the events of the game’s single-player campaign. “The Contract” arrives next week, on December 15th, with a story focused on Franklin, who works in “celebrity solutions agency”. One of the highlights of the expansion is the presence of Dr. Dre, who produced new music for the game, and is also a character in the game.

The story
The free expansion presents F. Clinton and Partner, an agency that offers “solutions” to the problems of the elite of Los Santos. The character of GTA Online players will meet Franklin through Lamar, and will need to expand the business.
Throughout the campaign, DJ Pooh will contact Franklin to talk about a potential client: Dr. Dre. The player will be responsible for finding the rapper’s phone, which contains many new songs. This mission can be done in solo campaign, or with other players.
According to Rockstar, the player will work with Franklin, Chop and a hacker named Imani to travel from Franklin’s old neighborhood to Los Santos parties and the FIB offices to recover the tracks.
Exclusive songs by Dr. Dre
Confirming the community’s rumors, Rockstar released that, along with the new radio station, many previously unreleased exclusive tracks from Dr. Dre will be present in the game. As well as Dr. Dre, several other rappers must be present at the DLC.
In addition, the update will also bring new weapons, vehicles, successful contracts and more. Rockstar announced that in the coming days it will present more details about the new items and songs of “The Contract”.
