Definitively establishing its consolidation and authority in the running market in the country, Olympikus presents the Corre2, the third model in the Corre Family launch cycle, a benchmark in high performance. Seeking to reach all runner profiles, the successor to Corre1 focuses on athletes looking for maximum cushioning. For the development of the model’s evolution, the project relied on a team of sports specialists again and this time with the support of the USP Biomechanics Laboratory, one of the main universities in the country, to carry out several tests.
With 42 grams less than the previous edition, the model provides even more cushioning and comfort to reach maximum performance in the practice of sport, whether in daily runs, long training sessions or marathons. The Corre2 midsole features the new Eleva technology, already present in previous releases of the family, which exploits the expansion limit of EVA to achieve maximum response, promoting greater durability. Technologies such as Gripper and Gripper plus (non-slip rubbers) are also present in the model and bring as their main attribute the increase in softness, providing abrasion resistance and stability in the face of the landing of the past.
Oxitec brings a monofilament technology with elastane that provides lightness and greater thermal comfort. In the insole we find the Ortholite, which helps to circulate the air between the strides providing greater breathability for the feet during the race.
Corroborating the national identity of Olympikus, in addition to having been tested in one of the main laboratories in Brazil through a study organized by Professor Dr. Júlio Cerca Serrão, a reference in biomechanics, Corre2 was developed entirely by Brazilian professionals, with technology 100% developed in the country. Further reinforcing the Brazilian roots of its creation, the new sole design was inspired by the bed of the São Francisco River, the idea of one of its co-creators, the athlete Wellington Cipó.
The model was officially presented this Saturday (2), at a training session for runners and opinion makers that also marked the opening of Casa do Corre, the brand’s experience space at Parque Villa Lobos, in São Paulo, which is now open to the public. . The Casa do Corre space will feature exhibition and information about the three models of the Corre Family, in addition to free training, lectures, post-workout recovery with Hypervolt, biomechanical assessments, recording of podcasts and much more. Casa do Corre is open until April 10, when the 26th edition of the São Paulo International Marathon takes place, an event sponsored by Olympikus. Registration for access to the event must be made at official site.
Complementing the launch activations, online and offline media campaigns will be worked on across different platforms and markets in the following weeks.
The launch of Corre2 reinforces Olympikus’ positioning as a Brazilian brand that produces, launches and democratizes access to sports and technology made in Brazil. The product follows the longest cycle of racing launches in the brand’s history focused on the segment. Synonymous with high performance, the Corre Family offers options and technologies for all types of runners.
In addition to the Corre2, the Family presented two other models: the Corre Graphene, the first model with the brand’s propulsion plate and the first in the world with a graphene plate, and the Corre Vento, a model focused on runners looking for a product of lightness and speed. All sneakers in the family are produced 100% with clean energy, solidifying the social responsibility initiatives and amplifying the brand’s environmental sustainability actions.
Corre 2 is available at loja on-line official brand from April 2nd and in partner stores from April 11th, with a suggested price of R$ 499.99.
