This week debuted the CNN Money, a new product on finance and economics by CNN Brasil, under the command of two references in the area: Thais Herédia and Priscila Yazbek. The program will have 45 minutes, from Monday to Friday, to talk to those who invest and need to decide how to take good care of their own money. The idea is to help in understanding what happened the day before and inform about expectations for the agenda of the day that begins. CNN Money will also have a version in podcast and participation in the newspapers CNN Novo Dia (7 am) and Live CNN (11 am).
Alongside specialists, the anchors will analyze the general panorama of the economy in Brazil and in the world. “CNN Brasil creates this exclusive space to address the economy, the topic that most interests Brazilians, as recent opinion polls show.”, says Thais. The journalist talks about the content of CNN Money, which promises to deliver insightful information quickly. “We are going to talk to those who understand the economy and to those who do not, we are going to show what is happening in the market, as now, for example, within the context of war and elections, which adds several important elements to the debate”clarifies.
Priscila Yazbek explains that CNN Money will “to start the day for investors and for those who like economics, with the intention of helping them understand what is happening in the area and interpret the important facts for decision making”. Priscila will keep an eye on all the news on the financial market and on the stock exchanges in Asia, Europe and the United States, which define the course of investments around the world. “Let’s, for example, talk about the rise and fall of the markets, give an overview of what is happening in the economy so that people at home know what to expect on the day that is starting.”
To talk to those who are or are not familiar with the economy, the CNN Money will have colloquial and accessible language. The objective is to be a visual guide with essential information about everything that can interfere with income, at a time when thousands of Brazilians started to finance economic activity through shares on the stock exchange. “Together we will write the history of the Brazilian economy”, concludes Thais Heredia.
* “CNN Money” airs Monday through Friday at 6:15 am
