McDonald’s installed McFritas-shaped clocks on the streets of the city of São Paulo.
The action is signed by the Gallery, through Vitrine, the outdoor media business hub, and is being carried out at JCDecaux’s out of home media stations. The scenography of the watches was produced by Bizsys.
“With this initiative, we demonstrate in practice how outdoor media can be used in an immersive way and with an impact on the connection between brands and consumers”, said Paulo Ilha, founding partner and Chief Media Officer of Galeria in charge of the Vitrine hub.
In addition to McFritas watches, Mcdonald’s also prepared a promotion and, until the 18/04th, people who post a photo of the watches on Instagram or Twitter, tagging the restaurant, will win a coupon for two large fries for R $19.
“With this action, we are taking the McFritas to the streets, as a way to generate conversation with the public and show the possibilities we have to make the pieces of communication even more interesting for the consumer. In addition to generating engagement with the brand’s fans, encouraging them to take the conversation to their social networks”, highlighted João Branco, VP of Marketing at McDonald’s.
