For the first time in the history of Big Brother Brazil, an advertising film was produced inside the most watched house in the country. The new McDonald’s commercial, starring nine BBB22 participants, is being broadcast nationwide on television. The content is a continuation of the Novos McPicanha campaign and was conceived by the GALERIA agency, with development in partnership with Globo.

Phil Daijó, creative director at GALERIA, commented:
“Usually, the brothers become poster boys when they leave the most guarded house in Brazil. Now, for the first time, we created a film with the participants inside the reality. We captured their authentic reactions and even let the audience watch the recording of a McDonald’s commercial inside the BBB”.
Last week, the participants of the 22nd edition of the BBB were surprised to be able to experience first hand the new Picanha Salada Bacon, which has delicious slices of melted cheddar cheese, the exclusive picanha sauce and the brand’s crispy bacon. In addition, they were also able to taste the Picanha Cheddar Bacon, which is also part of the Novos McPicanha line. The film emphasizes the creativity of the brothers, who react to the taste of the sandwiches using expressions with adverbs in a variety of ways, in line with the campaign concept, “Picanhamente Delícia”. João Branco, VP of marketing at McDonald’s, highlighted:
“With this dynamic, we follow our goal of promoting new conversations with the brand’s fans each week. After making everyone’s mouth water when showing the backstage of the new campaign, we will show the result, presenting the first film of the brand produced within the reality. Undoubtedly, a very different way to communicate a product launch and that we believe will contribute to engagement with BBB22 fans”.
The New McPicanha are now available at the brand’s restaurants, Méqui Sem Fila, McDelivery and Drive-Tudo.
