Created by VMLY&R, the action seeks to alert consumers about the importance of data protection
The People’s Internet movement launched the campaign “The Day You Said Yes”, which aims to make consumers aware of the importance of data protection.
The campaign video created by VMLY&R shows the story of a couple, where one of the people says that she never forgot the day she received the “yes” and thanks.
At the moment of thanks, a message appears saying that this “yes” is not for that love relationship, but for the invasion of privacy and the use of personal data.
“The initiative was born to educate and raise awareness about the mechanisms behind the screens and their influence on our decisions. The proposal is not to stop doing it, it is to do it knowing where you are stepping. Because, without digital education and regulation, the only thing that what we have left is alarmism”, highlighted Paula Martini, founder of the People’s Internet.
