To celebrate ten years of the titles won by Corinthians in 2012, the club and Nike present the 2022 home shirt, in honor of the club’s Golden Year. The season was marked by the conquests of the Libertadores de América and the Club World Cup. The film, entitled “Suegue Arrepiando”, rescues the trajectory of struggle, obstacles, confidence and progress. It’s not just the titles achieved and the trophies raised, but the union between the team and the fans.
Duilio Monteiro Alves, president of Corinthians, said:
“Fiel’s passion for Corinthians is unique, and in 2012 the feeling between the fans and the team transcended stands and even borders – just remember our ‘invasion’ in Japan. Ralf’s goal in stoppage time in the first round of Libertadores and Sheik putting Pacaembu down in the last match are images engraved in the memory and hearts of our fans. The 2022 collection immortalizes a trajectory that has a special place in the affection of every Corinthians fan, and I am sure that the home shirt will become a piece that will be worn for many, many years.”
Predominantly white, the traditional color of the Corinthians home shirt, the piece retains the crew neck and black sleeves, but now with details in gold tones symbolizing the golden year of Corinthians in 2012. The novelty also appears on the club’s badge, which receives golden tones.
The inscription “The Favela is Here”, immortalized in the phrase of the scarf lifted by Tite in the conquest of the World Cup, in Yokohama, appears on the back of the shirt, at the nape of the neck. Still on the back, inside the numbers, is written the phrase “Against everything and against all”, theme of the 2012 Libertadores conquest, with the same font used during the golden year.
The numbering gets a texture inspired by the 2012 shirt with a gold border, matching the sleeve and collar. The shorts are all black, with the Swoosh (Nike branding) and numbers in white/gold. The socks, predominantly white, bear the club’s stylized initials and follow the aesthetics of the shirt’s color.

It’s inspiring and most of all rewarding. It is a gift for the fan who has lived intensely every step of that dream.”
TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT
The jersey features the latest Nike Dri-Fit ADV (Advanced Functional Innovative Technologies) technology and represents Nike’s most innovative performance solutions for apparel. The Dri-FIT ADV takes the basic materials found in DRI-FIT – fabric that wicks sweat away from the skin for faster evaporation – and takes them to the next level through engineering that maps and studies athletes’ bodies in movement, using not only innovative construction methods, but the insights of the athletes themselves.
“Keep Shivering” Campaign
To star in the video “Segue Arrepiando”, which depicts the Golden Year and the team’s progress in the historic campaign, Nike invited player Fábio Santos (left back in 2012) and Football Manager Alessandro (right back and captain in 2012), symbols of that year’s achievements. In addition to midfielder Willian and players Diany, Miriã, Jaqueline and Grazi, who symbolize the team’s current moment.
