Campaign created by AlmapBBDO defends that there is no more space on Earth for companies that do not care about sustainability
The United Nations Global Compact Brazil Network has launched a campaign that invites companies that do not support corporate sustainability initiatives to move to Mars.
The campaign, created by the advertising agency AlmapBBDO, argues that there is no more space on Earth for companies that do not care about sustainability and society. To strengthen this premise, the film emphasizes the benefits and advantages for companies to set up their operations on Mars.
The campaign began with teasers selling Mars as a “new concept of business destination” and can now be seen in full on the official Global Compact social media.
“This campaign marks the launch of the Ambition 2030 of the Brazil Network of the Global Compact, which, through seven movements linked to its action platforms, will engage companies to assume commitments related to the achievement of seven Sustainable Development Goals”, explained Otavio Toledo, Head of Marketing, Events and Communication at the Global Compact.
The campaign was launched after the United Nations Global Compact Network Brazil announced its new strategy to achieve its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
“There is no Planet B. There is no point in thinking long term, we are already too late. Commitments on water, carbon mitigation, human rights, anti-corruption, all fundamental issues for Brazil. Leaving no one behind,” said Carlo Pereira, executive director of the United Nations Global Compact Brazil Network.
