The brand’s store at Shopping Pátio Paulista, in São Paulo, will have a team to help young people get the document
The Body Shop is inviting young people aged 16 to 17 to go to the brand’s store at Shopping Pátio Paulista, in São Paulo, to get their voter registration.
From May 2nd to 4th, a team will be available to help people get the document online through the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) website.
“Topics that young people consider important, historically, are forgotten by politicians of other generations. It is high time that this audience was heard and represented”, said Karina Meyer, Marketing Director for The Body Shop for Latin America.
The action was inspired by several young people who are donating their time and using their own computers to help others get their voter registration card.
“The Body Shop wanted to do its part. The Shopping Pátio Paulista store, in the heart of São Paulo, has just been reopened as an activist space and it makes perfect sense to open its doors to support important causes for the brand and society”, added the executive.
