According to Buzzmonitor, the brands most cited by mothers on the social network are Twitter, Globo, Whatsapp, Instagram and Disney.
Buzzmonitor conducted a CCL (Consumer Centered Listening) study that pointed out the preferences, profiles and brands that are the most cited by Brazilian mothers on Twitter.
The study analyzed the profile of 189 women in the last two years and more than 37,000 posts from people who mention “mother” in their profiles, with the exception of the terms “pet mother” and “plant mother”.
According to the survey, the brands most cited by mothers on the social network are Twitter itself (50.26%), Globo (47.61%), Whatsapp (42.84%), Instagram (23.28%) and Disney (0.08%). According to the survey data, consumer goods and service brands did not appear significantly in the analysis.
Data from Buzzmonitor identified that mothers in Brasília are the most adept at Twitter, followed by mothers in Porto Alegre, Belém, Niterói and Salvador. About the routine of these women, the research pointed out that Tuesday, at 11 pm, is the time when they are most active.
In terms of entertainment, 51.32% of mothers talk online about watching an attraction, such as a movie (5.29%), series (4.76%) or program (3.7%), and these moments are related to moments of relaxation, appearing along with the terms “Sunday” and “sofa”.
According to the survey, among open TV stations, Globo is the mothers’ favorite, with 50.79%, with emphasis on the programs Big Brother Brasil, Fantástico and Domingão. In streaming, Netflix occupies the first position, with 11.64% of mentions.
In addition to Twitter, which ranks first, the study also analyzed which other social networks mothers use. In second place is Whatsapp (42.84%), Instagram (23.28%), Facebook (18.51%), TikTok (12.69%) and Telegram (6.34%).
