For this year’s edition, the organization maintained the selection dynamics adopted in 2021, which aims to be more diverse and inclusive, offering more equal conditions for those interested and seeking to engage young people from different regions, genders, social classes, races and specialties. .
Young people had to create campaigns based on real briefings, aimed at three NGOs selected by the project: Vamos Falar sobre o Luto, from São Paulo (SP); AMAR – Alliance of Rare Mothers and Families, from Recife (PE); and Sol Maior, from Porto Alegre (RS).
“We received incredible ideas, which can be embraced by these entities and make a difference in the lives of many people”, highlighted Emmanuel Publio Dias, coordinator of Young Lions in Brazil alongside Celinha Camargos (Redhook School).
In addition to participating in the international phase of the Young Lions Competition, some pairs and those selected from the individual categories will be able to participate in the in-person edition of the Festival, in Cannes, depending on the success in the search for sponsorships.
So far, only one pair has their trip guaranteed, sponsored by JBS. Companies interested in sponsoring and guaranteeing more vacancies for young Brazilians selected by the project can contact the organization, supporting the development of these professionals and, consequently, of the entire market.
