In partnership with the NGO SOS Mata Atlântica, the brand seeks to alert its consumers about the importance of preserving the biome
Chilli Beans presents the SOS Mata Atlântica collection, created in partnership with the NGO. The initiative was inspired by the fauna and flora of the biome, one of the most threatened in the country, and aims to alert people about the matter. Part of the proceeds will go towards conservation and ecosystem restoration projects.
With textures, colors, symbols and materials that refer to the environment, the collection, made up of glasses, watches and cases, features models inspired by animals such as the jaguar, the cane toad and the coral snake.
The launch will be reinforced with content pills on the brand’s networks with digital influencers spreading information about the Atlantic Forest, in addition to a direct donation of more than 2 thousand tree seedlings to the Florestas do Futuro program, created in 2004 by Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica. .
“Our mission at the Foundation has always been to engage society in the defense of the Atlantic Forest, a biome present in 17 states and home to 72% of the Brazilian population. The partnership with Chilli Beans represents an advance in this direction, helping society to get to know this important forest, its wealth of fauna and flora, its benefits and, thus, be able to get more involved in its conservation and restoration”, says Marcia Hirota, executive director of SOS Mata Atlântica.
According to Chilli Beans, the action reinforces the concern with environmental awareness. In recent times, the brand has launched the ECO collection, with products made with plastic waste collected from the ocean and, more recently, it has announced a new modular store format, made with recycled plastic.
