With “Storytelling 2 – A Bomba Under Da Mesa”, the writer goes through several conflicts involving politics, religion, sexism, racism and propaganda; the launch, this Tuesday (10), will be at Livraria da Travessa
Publicist Adilson Xavier presents this Tuesday (10th) his newest book, “Storytelling 2 – A Bomba Under Da Mesa”, a sequel to “Storytelling – Stories That Leave Marks”. In the work, the author goes through conflicts involving politics, sexism, racism and propaganda and positions the public as a large audience, subject to decisions made by algorithms, stratagems and who are believed to be in a leading role.
The author writes about fake news, politicians like Zelensky, Putin, Trump, Bolsonaro, Mandela and Lula; characters like Batman, Joker, Robin Hood and Cinderella; and leaders like Pope Francis, Joan of Arc and Greta Thunberg. In the chapter on advertising, brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Burger King, among others, have entered, to a greater or lesser extent, in the political-ideological field.
At the launch, at Livraria da Travessa, Xavier will be joined by fellow publicist Lula Vieira and playwright Luciana Pessanha, in a debate mediated by journalist Elis Monteiro.
