A Riot Games announced news in its VALORANT competitive scene: VCT-BR OFFSEASON 2022 arrives after the end of VALORANT Champions, scheduled for September this year. Tournament organizers will be selected for partnerships with the aim of holding new championships to keep the game’s Esports circuit warm until the start of the 2023 Season.
VCT-BR OFFSEASON 2022 will take place between September 30 and December 16, 2022, in two possible championship models:regional, with the participation of teams from Brazil only; andinterregionalwhich give the opportunity for tournament organizers to invite international teams to compete with national teams.
The partnership between Riot Games and tournament organizers also provides for the transmission of competitions and support in the coverage of championships on Riot Games’ social networks, increasing visibility over players and teams. Formats will be defined by partners, upon approval by Riot Games.
“The creation of VCT-BR OFFSEASON 2022 is very important to keep the VALORANT ecosystem warm, and we are happy to provide Brazilian Esports fans with even more opportunities to follow their idols and experience new emotions. The company is already in contact with partner tournament organizers for the development of competitions; other interested parties can still submit their proposals.
The VALORANT Champions Tour Brazil returns next Saturday, May 14th, with the 10 best teams in Brazil face to face on LAN. The broadcast takes place on the official Riot Games channels on Twitch and YouTube.
